Recently, we had the opportunity to work with our friends at Stroud CrossFit to re-develop their branding. Originally developed by the talented Bailey Garrett in 2013, Strouds initial branding was perfect for them. It had the grit and tough look that a lot of CrossFit gyms were shooting for.
With Strouds goals of expanding beyond only CrossFit, the goal of a more streamlined brand was set. Our task was to create a scalable brand that was sporty while still having character. After sketching a number of different concepts, the final option was developed as you see below.
