Welcome to our new website here at J Taylor Design. We critique our marketing materials every year, and advise our clients to do the same. It is all too easy to become stagnant, and we do not want to be The Shoemaker. Over the last year, we took some time to rebrand ourselves. With our updated logo, color scheme, and fonts, we needed to put a little “2012” spin on our website.
Responsive Website Design
Responsive Website Design allows a website to adapt to the layout capabilities of the viewing environment. Meaning, that a website will grow and shrink on mobile browsers, like the iPhone, through a widescreen desktop computer. The technique has gained a lot of momentum in the web community over the last year. For a visual example of what we mean, visit the following and click the device icons at the top of the page to see the different versions of our website.
Regardless of Responsive Web Design, we always keeping mobile browsing in mind with our clients. With that, we stay away from Flash and make sure that a website looks great on iPhones, iPads, laptops and full size computers. Paying attention to your website statistics is a huge benefit here as tools like Google Analytics are smart enough to tell us what percentage of visitors are coming from what sized devices. With that information, we can know if a mobile or responsive website are worthwhile investments for your business right now.
